We spent a week at villa Maillard–it is comfortable, stylish and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are modern. There is a large table at the sunny veranda, where we enjoyed breakfast. The coffee capsules, bottle of water and bottle of wine were a very nice touch. The villa is in a quiet neighborhood, and yet not too far from amenities (by car). There is a restaurant at a walking distance and a small fruit stand where we bought fresh fruit. The host is very welcoming and responsive – she answered all our questions, we had late flights in and out, she accommodated us with no problem. She also provided great suggestions where to eat out, shop for groceries, what are the best local bakeries to try traditional Sardinian pastries and other delicacies.
