After the winter oversnow season ends, the West Entrance remains closed until the summer season begins in April.

This was such a nice place to stay. Everything was clean and well maintained.
On-call staff was just down the road and easy to reach and quick to respond if anything was needed. We called for some ice and some more towels to be sent to our room and somebody was there in less than five minutes.
The location was extremely quite in the evenings which made for a very restful night sleep. The bed we had was so comfortable that I was falling asleep in just a few minutes.
The location was also an easy walk (4 minutes) to the town center, shops and restaurants. You can choose to drive to the town square area, but parking is hard to find. It was just easier and faster to walk.
Obviously there might be some places you will want to drive to instead of walk, but for most everything you could want, walking is the way to go because the motel is so close to everything.
Our room felt like home away from home and I would and will definitely stay there again in the future. Do yourself a favor and try the Lazy Duck Inn, you will be very glad you did.

The room was a good size for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable. Towels were good quality as was the provided shampoo and conditioner in the dispensers in the shower. Good TV channel selection for relaxing after a long day in Yellowstone or Grand Teton. Shower water pressure and temperature were very good. Easy parking. Was great having the ice machine to fill the cooler each morning. It was always full of ice! When I contacted them for more toilet paper and a couple new towels, they responded quickly and delivered as promised. The location is off the main roads which was good for quiet time. For people who aren't able to walk distances, this means driving into town for dinner but that wasn't a big issue for us. Access to Yellowstone National Park couldn't have been easier! Would stay here again if in the area.

I was under the impression I was going to be in a cabin. The room was spotless. I didn't sleep well on the mattress. Hate the lack of mirrors. Nice to have laundry facilities so close. They also were very clean.
