The location was fairly good and the host was attentive.
The apartment needed a deep clean. The shower needed a good cleaning, the furniture was stained in spots, the floor is worn which can’t be cleaned. There was a hair on the bedside table. The beds and pillows were old and needed to be updated. The fridge needed a good wipe down.

Bardzo ładny apartament położony blisko centrum miasta. Pomocne instrukcje jak dostać się do środka i jak wyjść z apartamentu bezpośrednio na ulicę na poziomie miasta a nie wzgórza na którym jest położony. W budynku opcja parkowania bez której lepiej nie jechać do Triestu samochodem. Apartament wygodny, czysty, posiadający wszystkie udogodnienia. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką.

Zunächst waren wir etwas besorgt, da die Adresse auf einem der relativ hohen Hügel der Stadt gelegen ist. Das war jedoch kein Problem, da es einen Aufzug (!) zur daruntergelegen Straße gibt. Ein eigener Parkplatz ist in Triest sehr empfehlenswert. Das Appartment ist sehr großzügig, frisch renoviert und es ist wirklich alles da. In der Küche gibt es Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Gasherd, großer Kühlschrank und sogar eine Waschmaschine. Esstisch für 4 Personen, Sofa und ein riesiger Flachbildschirm. Ein netter überdachter Balkon mit Blick über die Stadt lädt am Abend auf ein Glas Wein ein. Das Schlafzimmer ist ausreichend groß und hat einen begehbaren Schrank. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und haben ein Problem mit der Dusche innerhalb von wenigen Stunden behoben.
Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Man ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der Fussgängerzone und dem Hafen entfernt. Fast nebenan gibt es einen Supermarkt und einen kleinen Busbahnhof.
Wir haben etwas gebraucht um zu verstehen, dass die Garage in Etage -1 und das Appartement in Etage +1 liegt. Es war zwar im Text richtig beschrieben, nur das Erklärvideo zeigte nicht wie man von der Garage in das Appartement kommt, sondern wie man vom Appartement auf die Straßenebene (Etage -4) kommt.

The flat is conveniently located, and has good kitchen and air conditioning.
I expected more from this flat, as it was not cheap. The furnishings are very basic, the light is odd, the washing machine loud, and going in and out of the flat is quite awkward. We were three so we used the bed in the living room too, which was not very comfortable.
