It was cute, private and comfortable.
We had an issue with the stovetop knobs and getting the burners (convection) to turn off to the point we had to unplug it from the wall.

It was very clean and decorated so cute. We stayed pre cruise and it was so easy to get to the cruise port from this property.
Not anything to dislike. A lamp at bedside would be a great addition.

Off street parking, but on a gravel lot. The rooms seemed clean - but attention to detail is lacking.
The listing says "Beach house". This house in nowhere near a beach - rather it's a 'beach-themed' house. Not located in a good neighborhood. It sits next door to 2 abandoned properities with dilapidated houses on them and 1 block from an outdoor 24-hour laundromat. It is not whole house but a duplex. While this house is not terrible - it needs some TLC & attention to detail. It is also not ideal for tall people, or anyone who wants a comfy place to sit and relax. Chairs in the sitting room are very low to the floor and positioned under the TV. The TV is mounted up by the ceiling, Too high to be watch comfortably from the futon couch. The couch in the sitting room is hard as a rock, low to the ground and not suitable for sleeping - although there are sheets provided for it to be made into a bed.
The bed in the bedroom is a nice sized queen, but it is a memory foam matress and very firm. The bed linens need upgrading. There are two folding chairs we wanted to use in the closet space in the bedroom but were covered in cobwebs. The ceiling is very low! Particularly once you take the single step up into the hall that leads to the bedroom and bath. The ceiling is especially low in the bathroom. Shampooing in the shower is challenging if you are tall.
We were left only 2 bath towels for a 5-night stay. Only 1 dish towel and no dish soap. Every dish and piece of flatware in the kitchen needed to be cleaned. We only used the kitchen to make coffee with the keurig and it needed descaling.
The floor in the hall and bedroom had throw rugs over them because the vinyl plank flooring is cracked and coming loose underneath. The AC unit in the sitting room rattles constantly and when the compressor kicks on, it vibrates the whole wall. We had to keep the AC set on 73 the or above to keep the noise down.
If this had not been a NON-refundable rental, we would have left after the first night.
