Nestled in Mundaring, this lovely house for $148 per night is a great choice for your next break. This country cottage in the heart of Mundaring is opposite the west side of Sculpture Park near the old Mundaring Train Station so overlooks the beautiful park's trees for privacy. A short walk through the park takes you to Nichol Street, the heart of Mundaring that has the Mundaring Hotel, various markets, town hall, library, Mundaring Art Centre, bakery, cafe, Hills Fresh food market and more. You can continue to walk to other larger shops in town such as Coles, Woolworths and Aldi. Inside the house there are 3 large bedrooms with either king or queen size beds. 2 rooms have walk in robes, the 3rd room has a chest of draws and clothes rack. The front living area has a slow combustion fire place and television with a beautiful view through the timber french windows overlooking the front garden and Sculpture Park trees. The kitchen off this living area has lovely timber cabinets and a slate floor with a large walk in pantry, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and a door leading out into the undercover patio area. The front bedroom and bathroom off this living area has the king size bed over the passage from the recently renovated bathroom with a shower, vanity and toilet. Walking through to the back part of the house you go through a large second living area with couches, tv and timber french bay doors opening out to the undercover patio area. The second bathroom down the back section of the house has a double spa, vanity and shower with a separate toileted located in the next room. The large bedrooms at the rear end of the house have the queen beds with walk in robes. The larger bedroom has timber french doors opening out to the undercover patio area. All bedrooms and the front living area have sunblock blinds. The outside laundry is cute and practical with access off the undercover area. There is undercover parking in the garage for one car. Plenty of other parking space in the driveway or out the front of the property on the verge. The back yard is large and spacious for a game of football or cricket. Mundaing and surrounds have many tourist attractions including the Mundaring Weir and the famous Weir Hotel and auditorium, Lake Leschenaultia, Gidgegannup Showgrounds, Noble Falls Park and Tavern, John Forrest National Park, numerous wineries and boutique restaurants, the Munda Biddi trail is very popular for cycling and bush walking. The surrounding bush lands have beautiful native flowers and native bush walks are not suitable for dogs, therefore this is not a pet friendly holiday home. Mundaring is also a short drive away to other Hills locations such as Kalamunda and Carmel via the scenic Mundaring Weir Road, a popular drive for tourists on the weekends. Mundaring is the home of many events including the night markets, artisan markets, farmer markets, open garden and art events, concerts at the Mundaring Weir Hotel, classic car shows, Red Hill theatre, outdoor cinemas, Fred Jacoby Park, and many more things you will find if you visit the Mundaring Tourist Information Centre in town.
