About this house rental
This gorgeous estate home, professionally managed by Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals in the resort-style gated golf community of Lakewood National is the perfect vacation home for the whole family! This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home features a huge travertine lanai and a private pool and spa. This beautiful home lends itself to entertaining and enjoying the Florida lifestyle. Upgrades include vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops, dual sinks, large soaking tub and huge walk-in tile shower. Enjoy the stunning view of the 3rd and 4th hole and watch the golfers on the fairway as you swim, enjoy meals and entertain guests on the lanai.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, flat screen TV and a en suite bath. One guest bedroom contains a queen size bed and the other has a king both have easy access guests' bathrooms located nearby. One of the guests' bathrooms provides direct access to the lanai. Perfect for hosting in the summertime!
The location is superb with only a 5-minute drive to downtown Lakewood Ranch, 20 minutes to downtown Sarasota and 40 minutes from Tampa. Not to mention that Lakewood National is only a short distance to the finest beaches, restaurants, and shopping centers in the area. You'll love everything about this community.
Pool heating is optional, for an additional non-refundable fee of $25 per day + taxes to be paid directly to the management company after the reservation is confirmed. Pool heat request made after guest arrival will incur an additional $45 trip charge.
Your reservation may require you to fill out a Home Owners Association application that may request personal details. Any application fees required by the HOA are non-refundable.
Please note: If another guest checks out on the same day you check in, Lakewood National amenities may not be available until 2:00 PM on the day after your arrival due to HOA processing requirements. Unfortunately, this process is outside the control of Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals.

The home was spotless and clearly well cared for, which made settling in effortless. It's one of the few rental options in Lakewood National, and the location couldn't be better for enjoying the community. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure every detail was smooth from check‑in to check‑out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free getaway.

Slightly worn and disheveled, with inexpensive and non matching furniture. But nice location and layout.

Good - Management company for the property was one of the best we have encountered. Responded quickly to call or text and resolved issues reported. Space was good for 4 adults - house was in great location/neighborhood. Kitchen well equipped as far as pans, plates, appliances. Pool service did great job.
Bad - TVs were all different, multiple remotes and only one instruction that didn’t work most of the time. Ended up just using our streaming apps. Although there were some good towels, most of the others were older/mismatched. No spices (not even salt or pepper) or things like aluminum foil.
Ugly: Arrived to air conditioning not working and took 2 days to fix had to go to hotel. Air, even after fixed, was not cooling 2nd king bedroom well - no overhead fan. Had to use three floor fans in that area to keep it cool. Refrigerator was leaking water on floor when arrived. Pool cage missing big panel, pool deck area not clean. Beware that the community only allows 2 adults to have IDs, so in our case with 4 adults - the other 2 adults could not use amenties without one of us being with them which was not clear when reserving.Very inconvenient after paying extra for this access. How can a house in Florida not have an emergency kit for hurricane/power outages? We only found one flashlight which had battery corrosion. (Leasing company did send over a new flashlight). Overall, we made the best of the situation so we could enjoy our family/vacation.
