The apartment seems very new. The appliances are barely used. There is a large fridge with a freezer, a television and enough cutlery for 2. The bed was comfortable and the airconditioning keeps the place comfortable with temperatures of 25 degrees celsius outside. The shower is outstanding and the host didn't ask us to clean up anything after our stay which made leaving early in the morning all the easier. You are within walking distance of the city centre and great restaurants.
The host responded very slowly and didn't pick op the phone on the day of arrival so we didn't know if we were welcome earlier than 15:00. This led to us postponing traveling to the apartment until 15:00. We read in reviews beforehand that the room could be noisy but we didn't intend on going to be super early so we decided to go ahead with this stay. Sadly the appartement is connected to the home of the host by a very thin wall. We don't speak Italian but you can hear every word they say on the other end of it. One night they had a party which woke us up at 2:30 AM. Another night the host left his alarm clock on (the thing went of at 8:00 AM for an hour before shutting off by itself). The plates in the cupboards still had dried tomatosaus on them. So no, we won't be returning next year.
