Our extended family of 7 adults and 6 children enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. It was extremely well equipped. The 2 kitchens had plenty of dishes and every utensil you could ever need. The deck was huge with two great grills and plenty of chairs! Although obstructed by newer larger homes, the ocean view was breathtaking with gorgeous sunrises every morning! There is a large house being built very close to this property, which did obstruct the views, but the ocean was still visible from most rooms. The back yard was nice for older kids to play. We loved the proximity to everything! We walked to Nubble Light, Dunnes Ice Cream, Fox’s Restaurant and downtown. We had a few minor issues (clogged sink, sticky/squeaky door, dryer vent) but the property manager and maintenance team were very responsive and quick to repair the minor problems we encountered. We would recommend this vacation home and hope to return in the future!

The home was a nice, but no privacy for 2- of the bedrooms! I do not think it should be listed as a 7 bedroom home. If so they should describe the open layout to two of the bedrooms. Also we had construction going on right next to us! The workers were there Monday thru Friday. It was very noisy & invasion of the property & our stay.

We enjoyed our week in York ME although I have to say this house didn’t live up to my expectations. My main issue is the fact they are using older pictures for the exterior. As others mentioned, there’s a 3 story building being built just 10-12 feet from the deck. On the other side of that new building, is another 3 story building that’s completed and lived in. Neither one of those structures are in the property photos shown on VRBO. While you can still see the ocean off to the side, the view from the deck is very different from what’s shown in the listing, which is the main reason we rented this house. There’s certainly been more than enough time to update the photos to be more accurate. They are also listing this as a 4 “full” bath home, when there are only 3.5 baths. One of the bedrooms looks like it was a closet at one time (no window or closet in that room - so technically not a bedroom).

Property, unfortunately, loses it's appeal with a 3 story building under construction 10 feet away from what would have been a great outdoor deck. Building is aging a bit (sticky doors,screen, etc) but otherwise in very good condition.

I stayed here 2 separate times in last 2 months. Once with 8 men on a golf trip and most recently with 14 family members on vacation. We were very pleased both times. Can’t beat the price/location combination. Walking distance to the Nubble Lighthouse, Short Sands beach, Dunne’s ice cream, etc.

Enjoyed this place. I understand on the photo it states picture taken before other surrounding houses were built, but I think it would be more fair and honest if there was and actual updated picture. Got there and they were in the process of building a new home within 20 ft of this place and blocked quite a lovely view.

We had a great stay. The location was fantastic and the space was accommodating to our large group!

House was great overall. The two kitchens were a great convenience. The deck and proximity to the kitchen was awesome. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad but with all our stuff we usually drove and during the week we always found parking. The proximity to the ice cream shop and the Nubble light house was awesome. The different level floors downstairs did create a trip hazard. Air conditioning upstairs didn’t work well but they did attempt to fix while we were there. There is construction going on right next door that does not show up in the pictures. Overall we really liked the house very much.

I vacation in York ever year and this house was perfect for a large group of men on a golf trip. Awesome location and beautiful views. Home had plenty of space and 2 well equipped kitchens. Ideal for large family vacations when there is a mobility issue. Loved it and will definitely return- soon!
