With several acres and enough trees for privacy, fireplaces, an indoor hot tub and sauna, and the capacity to sleep 16 guests comfortably, this bunkhouse-type setup is the ultimate for large groups. Inside there are luxury-type amenities like a sauna, hot tub and solarium. But you get the fun/pub type feel with the massive dining table, game room, bar/pub room, or one of many TVs. Close to SO MUCH: Downtown Lake George & Six Flags Great Escape are 10-15 minutes away, Saratoga & the racetrack are within 30 mins, SO MUCH SKIING (10 minutes from West Mountain, 45 mins from Gore, 1hour 15min from Whiteface, 1.5 hours from both Stratton and Killington... the list goes on!), Summer fireworks, boat rentals, family attractions... the list is nearly endless. Just 10 minutes from the Adirondack Northway, almost ANY destination within 200 miles is accessible in a day trip! WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: The house is NOT brand new. If you have elevated standards of clean crips edges, no scuffs or scratches, brand new carpet or high end matching furniture, this space probably isn't for you. It is in excellent repair and it is lovingly cared for, but it was built in the '80's. The wood flooring has had a lot of traffic over the years and it shows, the windows are wood, the nooks and crannies just don't feel new anymore - if you are expecting the feel of a new home or hotel, you WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. If everything must be pristine and sparkling YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. But the floors are always mopped, the kitchen and bathrooms are lovingly cleaned and dusted, the linens and towels are super fresh, the beds are relatively new & super comfy, and it is tidy, warm and inviting. So if the small details matter less to you than the feel of home but in a house with AWESOME things you probably don't have at home - you've come to the right place!
