About this cabin rental
Three Rivers Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Almont, CO, just 20 minutes south of Crested Butte and 10 minutes north of Gunnison.
“Blue Quill” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)
**Note: for 2025, we are replacing the futon with a standard couch. This cabin will no longer a have futon.
Cabins 23-25 and 30 are all identical. They sit at the base of “Lookout Point” in perhaps the most peaceful off-river setting on the resort property. These one bedroom cabins provide all of the basics. The cabin has a separate bedroom, living area and kitchen. Outside there is an open, covered patio with picnic table.
• Approximately 430 square feet.
• Queen size bed in the bedroom and a standard couch in the living room
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Plenty of parking here for 2 vehicles and toy trailers
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional $20/night/dog, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.

Nice cabins on the Taylor River. We came west from Buena Vista over Cottonwood Pass, amazing to see the full length of the river. Resort has nice shop, plus BBQ restaurant and an award-winning Willowfly Anglers, which helped me with flys for the best river fishing I have ever had.

The cabin was what we’re looking for. Nice bed, a full kitchen and nice sofa. It was a little warm during the day as it didn’t have ac, but it’s a cabin and we enjoyed staying there.

The mountainous location is beautiful. Our one bedroom cabin with a kitchen was basic, with older carpet and furnishings, but offered what e needed as a base camp. The bathroom was a little updated and the shower was wonderful. The front porch and charcoal grill were nice. You can almost never use fires in Colorado anymore because if the extreme fire danger, so that's not available.
