When I arrived, Patricia welcomed me well. The place was clean and tidy. The room I stayed in was spacious and had a nice terrace and a BBQ, which, although I didn't use it, was there for those who wished to. The toilet was for my use alone, as was the shower; however, the toilet and the shower are in separate rooms, and this was not a problem. The neighbourhood was safe, with only a couple of restaurants, but of good quality. The house is silent, and no noise is coming from anyone inside or next to it. My stay was for business, and I used the room only at night, so I am not sure what the environment is like during the day.
This has nothing to do with the house, per se. The place is far from the city centre, but you can take the bus or a taxi (I recommend the bus; taxis are very pricey). Before you visit the city centre, make sure to ask which street you should stay away from, as it can be super doggy.
About the room: Unfortunately, the season I visited Belgium was the hottest, and even with Patricia's amazing cooling system installed, the room was still very hot. This, for me, wasn't necessarily a bad thing since I was only a few hours in the room, but the time I spent in there, I was hot.
