It's the perfect base for your explorations whether you head to Damariscotta (eight miles), Boothbay Harbor (12 miles), the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (12 miles), Freeport (29 miles), or Camden (36 miles). The resort community is wonderful for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a dock with boat slips, a kayak launch, a beach and swimming platform, a firepit, and Adirondack chairs on the lawn that look out across the river. You'll also have your own private balcony where you can savor your morning coffee and relax with a glass of wine and a sunset view of the river. Inside, Whale Watch is full of custom finishes and elegant touches, enhanced by plentiful windows and water views from nearly every room. Dock details: The dock is an HOA dock with a slip. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
