***Property Overview*** Kai Cove, formerly Sea Cove, is a newly renovated and redecorated beachfront home within the exclusive Cayman Kai area near Rum Point. This stunning home features a new waterfront pool and veranda lounge, along with a private dock for rented jet skis or a boat. Book a charter to Stingray City and request dock service to collect your party right off the home's dock. Nestled on a white sandy beach, Kai Cove is perfect for children looking to play in the sand, or just long afternoons spent lounging by the water. Pool heat is available as an option for US$25 per day. Both the Rum Point Club and the Kaibo Marina are just a short walk away. Guests can pop out for watersport activities, day trips to Camana Bay on the ferry, or enjoy drinks and lunch on the beach. Kai Cove's 4-bedroom configuration sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably. Infants under 2 sleeping in cribs or pack-n-plays do not count towards occupancy. ***Sleeping Arrangements*** (Sleeps 8 guests total) -- Bedroom #1: lower-level, king bed, water views, walk-out access to the pool and beach, ensuite with shower. -- Bedroom #2: upper-level, king bed, elevated water views, private balcony, ensuite with dual vanity, soaking bathtub, and shower. -- Bedroom #3: lower-level, king bed, water views, walk-out access to the pool and beach, uses detached full bath equipped with shower. -- Bedroom #4: lower level, king bed, private entry, water views, walk-out access to the pool and beach, ensuite with shower. ***Kai Cove's Notable Features*** -- Spacious two-story home with fantastic sunset views. -- A newly installed 48-foot-long pool gently arcs around the veranda. -- Sandy backyard beach with sun beds, hammock, and a contemporary stone picnic table. -- A brand-new kitchen with modern appliances, dishware, cookware, and cutlery; a propane grill sits on the veranda. -- Living room with sofas, SmartTV with cable channels, Sonos audio system, and walk-out access to the veranda. -- New powder room off of the living area. -- The indoor dining area seats eight comfortably. NOTES: A Cleaning Fee is required due to enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols. -- Kayaks and paddleboards are available for discounted rental. A signed waiver is required. ***Rate Details*** -- 13% Occupancy Tax added to all rates. -- 10% Guest Service added to all rates. -- A refundable damage and cleaning deposit of $1,500 is required on all reservations. -- The refundable damage deposit will be released back to the guest 7 business days after departure pending any damages. ***Booking Rules*** -- 5 nights minimum stay required. -- 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week. -- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products. Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival. ***Beach Notes*** All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Queen owns up to the high watermark. Be advised, the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images displayed due to weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use. ***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed*** Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. Should sargassum be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.
