De kamers waren prima in orde en alles wat we nodig hadden was ter beschikking: potten, pannen, bestek, borden, glazen. Mijn gezelschap genoot vooral van het grote terras waar de hele familie aan kon plaatsnemen. Ook de palletkachel werd warm onthaald. Daarbij was het huisje in herfstthema versierd. Dat maakte het extra gezellig. 's Avonds hebben we van de BBQ gebruik kunnen maken, wat het makkelijk maakte voor ons als grote groep. Ook de flexibiliteit van de host was een grote plus. Velen van ons moesten van 2 tot 4 uur reizen en een aangepaste check-intijd bleek mogelijk, waardoor we wat meer tijd samen konden doorbrengen. We zaten dicht bij verschillende wandelroutes en er was een dorp op een kleine 10 minuten rijden bij de accommodatie vandaan om boodschappen te kunnen gaan halen.
Het enige wat ik de host als tip zou meegeven, is om duidelijk aan te geven waar de sleutels te vinden zijn en dat er eigen beddengoed en badhanddoeken meegenomen moeten worden. In de instructies staat bijvoorbeeld dat de sleutels in de sleutelkluis liggen, maar dat was niet het geval. Ik had op voorhand de reviews gecheckt en gelezen dat de sleutels door sommigen op de binnenkant van de deur te vinden waren en dat er geen beddengoed was, waardoor we hier wel op voorbereid waren. Uiteindelijk kun je als je goed op de foto's kijkt wel zien dat er nergens lakens op de bedden liggen, maar dat zien veel mensen, denk ik, niet in een eerste oogopslag. Maar dat is het enige. Voor de rest tiptop in orde!
