About this cabin rental
The Bunkhouse at Woodland Escape, paradise meets the countryside. Texas style private cabin located on a scenic 5 acres in Wise County TX. Just minutes away from LBJ Grasslands, Black Creek Lake & historic down town Decatur. Also, just a short 45 minute drive to Winstar Casino, the Stockyards in down town Ft Worth and Texas Motor Speedway. Close enough to enjoy the DFW area but far enough that you can still enjoy the peace and quiet that the Texas countryside offers.
Property features a fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub & outdoor kitchen w/gas grill & pizza oven for use in the common area.
There are 2 rental houses that share the outdoor areas including the swimming pool. The hot tub is available for private use by 1 hr reservation. We are pet friendly, $10 per pet per night. Enjoy nature, stargaze in the hammock, roast smores by the fire or cool off in the pool! Unplug, relax & recharge! Complimentary farm fresh eggs provided for every stay.

This property is exactly as the photos reveal. It is secluded, but has good Wi-Fi and cell coverage. The surrounding wildlife was an added bonus. If you wanna get away to a secluded area and still have the creature comforts plus bonus amenities then this is your spot.

We rented both cottages and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host was wonderful! We had total privacy, but was very responsive for all our needs and always available and tentative when needed. Property was peaceful and beautiful. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool. We will definitely stay again.

Space was clean and tidy - some rules caught us off guard, but we realized those were in place to keep inconsiderate guests from running wild. Great stay, would return.
