It was very much appreciated that a room was available for immediate checkin very early in the morning. Ben in the Club Lounge had excellent customer service, very professional and friendly. Location is good for relaxing and food courts.

This was the first time I tried a non-airport hotel. My room was five times as big and cost half as much compared to an airport hotel. I was on the 7th floor and had a good view out to the golf course. I used the buffet breakfast (great), the gym (also good) and the rooftop swimming pool (fantastic). All staff were very friendly, starting with a great check-in by Chiarra. The hotel also has a free airport shuttle service.
The only downsides I could see are: 1) It does take 20-30 mins to get to and from the airport to the hotel, so an airport hotel is clearly the fastest option (and the most expensive). 2) While the location is close to the airport, it is a long way from town. Having said that, Changi Village is authentically Singaporean with lots of food choices ranging from super cheap hawker centre food to proper sit-down restaurants. There is also a little Beach Park about 3 mins walk away and a golf course right next door. I would definitely stay here again. Great 28 hour stay over.
