Beautiful place, friendly people, great food.
The only thing that wasn’t great was the water pressure in the shower.

Great place to stay. Away from it all but close enough to New hope, Lumberton, Lambertville and frenchtown.
Peddlers village is just 10min away. Rooms are exceptionally clean as is the property. It's right on the Delaware River. Great views.
Nice bar in on site. Nice little breakfast in the morning is included

We loved our stay at the 1740 House and in Lumberville. We recently visited and were looking for an alternative to stay in right in New Hope. The location is so beautiful, our room was even prettier than expected with a beautiful view of the river and nice area to sit outside. Breakfast was perfect. I highly recommend this inn, and visiting Lumberville! We will definitely be back in the fall.
