This was my second time staying here. The ocean front rooms are way nicer and more modern than the other rooms. The owner is the same as the Diria next door, where you’ll be having your breakfast. Listen, for the price, just stay at the Diria, you’ll be spending maybe 80 bucks more and it’s got all the amenities you’ll need like pools, bars, restaurants, etc. The Perla is nice and low key, but too expensive for just offering oceanfront and free breakfast.

This was exactly what we were looking for on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. The location was fantastic, with a lively, upscale atmosphere and plenty of restaurants, shops, and people enjoying the area. We loved being able to walk around and soak in the local vibe.
Naomi was exceptional! She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Every interaction with her left us smiling. The bartenders were also wonderful, the food was consistently delicious, and the security staff made me feel safe each evening while traveling with my teenage daughter.
One experience I'll never forget is when Lydia and I were caught in a rip current. The lifeguards were watching closely, responded immediately, and rescued us. Their professionalism and quick actions likely saved our lives, and I will always be grateful.
The only thing to be aware of is that vendors regularly walk the beach selling souvenirs, tours, and other items. They're persistent but respectful, and a simple "No, gracias" works well.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Great staff, excellent food, a beautiful location, and an atmosphere that made us feel relaxed and welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
