Hôtel Cardinal

Great Stay in the Heart of Bordeaux The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, with two nightstands and plenty of outlets to charge our devices. I loved the tall windows that let in lots of natural light, and the closet was roomy and even had its own light. The room also had a small table with two chairs — perfect for meals or working. The kitchenette was convenient, equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a few pots for light cooking. The bathroom was small but well-designed, with a heated towel rack and a shower that offered plenty of space and excellent water pressure. The location was perfect — just steps away from the Cathedral of Saint Catherine and close to many shops and restaurants. We felt safe walking around, even at night, and it was easy to take the bus back to the train station. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English, which made check-in and recommendations very easy. Overall, a great experience and a wonderful place to stay in Bordeaux!

This small boutique hotel is very comfortable and fashionable. The chairs at the small table are not comfortable for long sitting. Otherwise the amenities are perfect.

Accommodating staff. Clean and very functional.

A fee more observations from our prior 5-star review: Room was rather dark. Breakfast was rather expensive- but Le Rohan off the plaza Fey-Beyland provided an excellent alternative. Otherwise the space, service, decor, location and amenities were ideal.
