My husband and I stayed at the Malaysia Hotel nearly 2 weeks. What a great stay! Sure, the room is somewhat dated, however, the room was so clean, we had a good view, the bottled water (not plastic bottles, real glass) was so refreshing. The staff, from the front desk to security, to housekeeping, I can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating was the entire staff. Staying here was a good decision. There is a 24 hr restaurant with good food, local restaurants, 7-11 and everything you need is walking distance and GRAB is very convenient.
We would definitely stay her again.

I have known about the Malaysia hotel for many years. It has had a checkered - interesting - career. I was thus quite surprised at how nice it turned out to be. It was very comfortable and clean. While a bit old, everything worked perfectly. The ladies cleaning the room were fast and reliable. The Malia dining room served great breakfasts and lovely Thai food. The hotel was in an interesting neighborhood with a truly excellent Vietnamese restaurant within a 5 minute walk around the corner. Overall i would say the hotel was great value for money.
