The room itself was fine, but the sleep setup needs some work. The three pillows on my bed might as well have been folded-up sheets stuffed inside pillowcases — absolutely no support. They really need to be replaced.
The blackout curtain is a good idea, especially with a bright streetlight directly outside the window, but the room layout makes it difficult. Unless the curtain is completely closed, that streetlight shines directly at eye level from the bed. Even a couple strips of dark window tint along the bottom portion of the window would probably solve the problem without having to redesign the room. A bottom-up blackout shade, lowering the bed, or rearranging the room could also work.
For a hotel, comfortable pillows and the ability to actually make the room dark enough to sleep should be pretty basic.
