We loved this spacious, secluded property! The house was clean and everything functioned properly – we were a little concerned that it may not be because there were not many reviews perhaps meaning the house wasn’t occupied much and not getting due attention. The kitchen was stocked well enough for the cooking we did. The listing mentioned a gas grill, which we didn’t see, but there was a smoker grill and a separate charcoal grill.The river was amazing to explore, with both deep and shallow spots, and it felt private yet still close to downtown Wimberley. We really appreciated the kayak and paddle down by the river! Hopefully, that remains there for future users. We purchased and left a few floats for future guests to enjoy – in the garage.The walk down to the river does have a bit of a grade, but it’s very manageable, and there’s even a dirt road that could be used to drive someone down if walking is difficult.The garage/game room was a fun bonus.The only minor issue was no outdoor trash bins. So we stored the trash in the garage. We notified the property manager who pleasantly responded that they would handle it.Overall, a wonderful stay—we’ll definitely be back!

We booked pretty last minute with my in-laws, a five year old, a toddler. We were looking for a secluded one story place and this place did not disappoint. We had some check in issues but those were resolved fast. Also the thermostats were low on batteries but they got it done first thing in the morning. The property is beautiful and we hiked down to the Blanco. If you’re indecisive while reading this post - don’t be. Book it!
