We booked the Il Campo Apartment from 16-20 May 2026, and we are completely satisfied with the experience for the following reasons:
1. Check in process was smooth. We were provided with a WhatsApp number for the person meeting us at the Apartment with the keys, and she was waiting for us as arranged at the main door on the street.
2. Apartment was in keeping with the pictures on the Expedia website, was in good condition, and well appointed complete with small kitchen (along with cookware, dishes, and cutlery), a washing machine (no dryer combo), and an elevator (Apartment is on the first floor).
3. Apartment was located about 2 minutes walking from the Bologna Centrale train station (smooth sidewalks) and only about 18 minutes easy walking to the main square of the historic part of Bologna.
4. Take out food outlets and supermarkets were all within 1-5 minutes walk away.
The apartment is however only really practical for a couple (even though there was a sofa bed in the living area) and is highly recommended for visitors who are interested in exploring the historic part of Bologna and using Bologna as a base for day trips to other nearby cities (Modena/Parma/Ravenna) using the (excellent) Italian train system.
