The fact it had a very traditional authentic vibe to it
Access the location is not that great to get to and a couple of Didi drivers refused to drive into the narrow road which is a nightmare being left on the main road with your suitcase on the first day of your visit

Thank you so much to the wonderful team at Happy Dragon! Our thanks go out to Long, Kai and Julie for looking after us during our short stay in Beijing. Also for organising our tour to The Great Wall. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Beijing.
The staff, the beautiful rooms, the free breakfast and great location for restaurants.

Really top place to stay - tranquil water garden at the center, great room size and all very comfortable, amazing professional and friendly team (front desk, breakfast and bar) who are enthusiastic to chat, and great breakfast. Also nice to be able to have a drink and bite of food in the bar at the end of a long day.
