About this cottage rental
A private Hill Country yurt with fast WiFi, a dedicated workspace, and a secluded hot tub, approximately 35 minutes from Austin yet surrounded by total quiet. Set on 28 private acres in Texas Hill Country , this is where city pace gives way to space, privacy, and open skies.
We are a Wildlife Sanctuary and birds are our target species. Our guests love sitting on the porch enjoying their morning coffee watching the many different kinds of birds that change with the seasons. The gardens also attract many bees and butterfles. Just sitting on the porch you can sometimes see deer, jack rabbits, raccoons or possums.
If you take a walk down to the stable, you will find two horses, two donkeys, two miniature goats, and about 40 chickens—and you can enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast every day! Enjoy a morning walk on our mowed trails, and in the evening, watch the stars with our telescope or simply lie out on the lounge chairs and look up...

We took a trip to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and she chose this location on line. When we arrived, the yurt was ready and absolutely perfect, it is even nicer than the photos show and it had everything we needed - and more. The eggs were delicious, coffee bar was packed. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. It rained and the sound on the yurt roof was very relaxing. I would highly recommend this rental if you are planning a trip to Austin, it’s not a very far drive. Our host was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

My husband and I loved the Romatic Ritz! We were welcomed with roses, a bottle of wine and a snack board. The yurt was supplied with everything we needed plus more.We did a few things around town but mostly enjoyed spending time on the property. We drank our morning coffee while watching the sunrise around the fire pit. We fed the miniature donkeys and goats and walked the property.Patti ad Phil are great host wan it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend staying here when you visit Dripping Springs!
