Ms. Ha Thu, the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful. She's a local. Ms. Ha Thu showed us places to visit on Cat Ba Island; the beaches are beautiful, though they can get a bit crowded because it's summer.
The tourist season may bring sudden rain showers, so remember to bring a raincoat or umbrella.

the location and amenities were okay. bathroom and hairdryer were the best bit. although despite being in a dorm, i did not get any roommates throughout my stay. it’s both a pro and a con tbh.
the rooftop bar was mostly closed and no staff was there, no opportunities to socialize as well. place was full of big groups of local tourists/company probably in an outing. lobby was loud all the time. breakfast was just okay.
