Location: Centrally located and very convenient, with a bus stop nearby offering a direct connection to the train station. Room: Comfortable size and generally clean upon arrival. Self check-in and check-out: Seamless and straightforward.

Daily housekeeping: We left the room at 09:00 and returned at 14:10, but the room had still not been cleaned. When we asked why, the hotel responded: “Our housekeeping service takes place between 10:00 - 15:30, and your room was scheduled to be cleaned next, still within the regular service window”. This response misses the point. In practice, because the hotel cannot track when guests leave their rooms, guests are simply at the mercy of this “regular service window.” My suggestion is simple: invest in a system that allows housekeeping to identify which occupied rooms have been vacated and prioritize them for cleaning, before moving on to rooms being prepared for new check-ins. This is basic operational efficiency and would significantly improve the guest experience. Noise level: The hotel is located next to the Mövenpick Wein store and a car park, with an alley separating them from the building. As the room had no air conditioning, we had little choice but to sleep with the windows slightly open. On Friday, we were woken at around 06:30 by noise from trucks unloading and other delivery activities. Rooms facing this side of the property are therefore particularly noisy. Neither keeping the windows closed or providing earplugs is a particularly inspiring solution. Smell: The “suite” includes a small kitchen, which previous guests had clearly made ample use of. When we checked in, there was a lingering smell of onions throughout the room. This is something that should have been noticed during housekeeping and could easily have been addressed with an odour-neutralising spray before our arrival.

Beautifully redone but kept the old charm. Spacious, clean and an amazing shower.

Pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Convenient! They had turndown service each day too which was nice. Full kitchen.
