The property had everything that we needed and more. The location was as central as it could be and the host was very nice. The most important objectives were in walking distance of us.
The noise coming from the street is a problem if you want to sleep late. It is expected because of how close it is to the heart of the city, but it's worth noting.

This apartment had so much character, we loved it as soon as we stepped inside. The beds were comfortable and all amenities were as expected. The property was clean and the host attended to everything we needed (including helping us open the front door).
While the location inside the old city was exactly what we wanted when we booked, we didn't realise that some of the laneways are used by pedestrians and mopeds ALL night! Our bedroom literally opened onto one such laneway, it made our night very noisy and disturbed. The door handle to access the property was faulty and needed to be turned with such force that most elderly people would be unable.

The host was always available through WhatsApp. Nicely remodeled. Great location. Host helped me change my reservation booking to a single from double person reservation saving me money. I was able to leave my bags in the room before check in.
There were no windows and a persistent sewer smell from the bathroom. I was told on WhatsApp that the "the taxi was paid" included with the room, not true, just be aware that only making the reservation is included. The bidet leaked when used and the front door lock was difficult to use.
