Accomodations were amazing, resort was spectacular. Everything we needed.
Had a bad experience with someone who lives there full time and evidently hates to see young children having fun. She accosted them, told them she was the HOA president and would have all of us thrown out, because they were running in the halls. She insulted my grandparenting, scared the 10 and 9 year olds to the point they were shaking and literally terrified. She accosted them on the 4th floor, then proceeded to follow them down to the pool where I was to let me know "we've had 6 calls on these boys." They had already apologized and said they didn't know they were doing wrong, WHICH THEY WEREN'T! I let her know that they were sorry and said they had already told her they would not run anymore. Next morning, after being down and not wanting to leave the room, because of, (I'm going to call her) "Karen" I went to the office and spoke with the Wonderful Ms Kathy who said that she, herself, was the head of the HOA, they had no calls on the two boys and that No one from the HOA board was there, that Karen lied. Our grandsons had done nothing wrong, they were free to run the halls and that she would review tapes to find out who the Karen that lied to us was. Later that day, she stated she had spoken to other board members and they too were very upset about the incident, especially after seeing how well behaved the boys were while running the floors. I feel 8 need to let you know that they were running around with phones because there had been a thunderstorm happening and all pools were closed. They had just reopened and the boys asked to run around a bit more before getting in the pool. This ruined 1.5 days of our 6 night stay. This was not the fault of the owners of the unit we stayed in, which was perfect. This Karen who chose to live in a family resort needs to move to a nice retirement trailer park. We are world travelers and have never experienced a situation like this before.
