About this house rental
Greetings from Englewood, Florida, a true beach town where you'll find your cozy beach house. This charming home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property backs up to Forked Creek, where you can sip your morning coffee or take a kayak ride on the backwater to Lemon Bay. You can also hang out on our private beach area, relax in the hammock beneath some palm trees, enjoy a campfire in the cool Florida night or fish off the back bulk head for snook.
There's room for up to five people - the master bedroom has a high end queen bed, and the second bedroom has a twin over a double bunk bed. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals and enjoy your morning coffee. The living room is large enough to provide a comfy place to relax in the evening. The home is equipped with a desk and chair if you need to do some work while you're here.
Bring your boat along! You'll receive access to the community's private boat ramp less than a mile away. This provides easy access to the ICW and the Gulf. There's plenty of space in the driveway to park your boat, so you won't have to rent a slip at the marina.
Just 5 minutes away is stunning Manasota Key Beach, where you can sunbathe, swim in the warm Gulf waters, or take a leisurely walk along the shore.

My husband and stayed for the month of February. We both also work and the internet was fine. Having a desk in the kitchen was helpful. The main reason we rented this home was to be able to launch our kayaks from the backyard into the creek. We did that several times - it was so convenient. While the house is a bit dated, it was sparkling clean. The master bed was very comfortable. I think it was great value for money.
