Very central, down the road from Khao San Road. Big food night market directly around the corner, many restaurants.
The beds are spacious and have curtains, a light, an electricity socket and a cupboard with hangers. 2 ACs in the room. For a 10-bed dorm there were 3 showers, 2 toilets, 2 sinks with mirrors, all non AC.
One of the ACs was broken and leaking water all over the room while I was there. The other one was then on full mode and it was overly freezing (16 degrees C), which was not adjustable (only the broken one had a remote). The staff wasn’t helpful.
People had sex in the dorm, but I guess at Songkran everything is possible.
It‘s a noisy area, so bring ear plugs.
