Great value if you just need a sleep over place.

The host was friendly, responsive, easy to take over keys and drop them off. The matrass and pillow were comfy. The shower pressure was great and the warm water comes immediately. There was a ventilator which is very important since keeping windows open was difficult due to noise and rain. There are plenty of garbage baskets, a shower gel and shampoo, towels, kitchen paper, coffee machine, microwave, small fridge with freezer. Great if you are out all day and don't spend any time in the room besides sleep. There is basic 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 bowls, 2 small pots and basic cuttlery, enough if you don't plan to cook anything.

There is no airco so the only way to get the air and cooling in the room is the windows on the street side. However the street corner is very noise and not possible to sleep with the window open unfortunately, even with ear plugs. Also the windows only open horizontal so you can keep them open if its raining. The apt. is on the 1st floor so everyone passing by can see inside if curtains are not completely closed. Which then in turn makes it that there is not enough daylight in the room. The bed is 2 beds with wooden separation so not really made for couples. There was no frying pan so preparing eggs for breakfast was creative (in pots), also no tool to flip the eggs. We could have used a kitchen cloth and some wet wipe to be able to wipe the table after eating as well. We stayed 6 nights so for us would have been handy to have some extra towels, since there was not kitchen cloth. The tea kettle was also broken and there is a sign that it does not automatically shut down which is dangerous if you forget to unplug and live the apartment.

Wir haben die kleine Wohnung gebucht, weil wir auf eine Hochzeit in Köln eingeladen waren und nachts nicht wieder nach Hause fahren wollten. Alles ist modern, gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Super bequeme Betten. Es gibt eine kleine Tee- und Kaffestation, sowie eine praktische Kochnische. Die Lage in der Kölner Südstadt ist genial. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und maximal flexibel, wir würden hier jederzeit wieder übernachten!

Es handelt sich um ein älteres Haus und durch die tolle Lage sind die Umgebungsgeräusche leider relativ laut. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht komplett verdunkeln, eine Schlafmaske ist empfehlenswert.
