This hotel has an amazing central location which was close to where I had to be in Glasgow. The staff is very kind and attentive, always willing to help out and answer my questions. The neighborhood of the hotel is very safe, as is the hotel itself. The room is nice and spacious; I had a kitchenette complete with a fridge and tea kettle, which is always great to have for a stay. The bathroom was amazing - also very spacious and the shower was great. All in all, it's a great place and I would stay there if I went to Glasgow again!
This is not applicable to everyone. As someone sensitive to lights at night, there were a lot of lights that couldn't be turned off in the room. The microwave, the aircon, TV, the blinking light of the smoke detector, light coming through the curtains on the window... Make sure to bring a good sleep mask!

Good central location
Some of the furnishings were not fit for purpose, they looked trendy but did not work e.g. reading lamp faced down away from bed and overhead leighting angled away from bed head so you could not read in bed. No hook near sink for handtowel, no drawer for clothes in a long-stay studio.
Square below was noisy so lots of noise from below, asked to be given quiet room at the back but were given a front one.
Duvet too thick, only sheets provided as an alternative, these were removed mid week and I had to ask for new ones, those that were put on the bed mid week were stained.
Reception isle design meant staff did not know who had been waiting longest to be served and this led to an argument between guests.
Asked three times for the bid to be emptied (self catering studio in a heatwave) midweek, and in the end were given a plastic bag to change ourselves and were shown the utility corridor to dispose of our own rubbish.
