Very scenic location. Great view of the Gulf of America and just a few minutes walk down the boardwalk to the beach. The unit was very spacious and amply equipped and furnished. Overall the unit is very comfortable. While the pool is not heated, it was still nice. The co-located spa was very much heated and very comfortable. This is a very quiet area, and not one the bustling beach and tourist areas found in many parts of Fl. The nearest town is Port St Joe, about 10 miles of pleasant driving from this location. There is a nice food store there, and many restaurants.
The unit could use some TLC in several areas. I sent Pristine Properties the areas that probably should be addressed. Just thinking in terms of being a property owner who would want to keep the unit in good/operational condition. The last three days of our stay the elevator did not work. Carrying bags up and down two flights of stairs got to be a pain. Oh well. When the property management company says they only give you starting amenities like toilet paper, garbage bags and etc, believe them! For 6 people for 13 nights, we got 2 rolls of TP, one garbage bag, and one pod each for the dishwasher and washer. For what we paid for the stay, it just seemed to cheapen the stay. If renting here, just be prepared.
