We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the amenities, including laundry. It was nice to be so close to Black Canyon NP, but also a short drive from Montrose. The home is located in a great spot. Very quiet, and peaceful. And it has a wonderful view from the front porch. They have a sweet grey cat named Coal. He was very friendly and we enjoyed giving him all the pets.
I met Joe, who I believe is one of the owners or he helps out around the property. He was very friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
The only downside I would say is there seemed to be a strong smell of cat litter in the apartment. Its not a bad smell, but I am hypersensitive to that particular litter scent. it wasnt my favorite, but i eventually got used to it. Would definitely stay here again if we come back. And will recommend to anyone we know.

Love this property!! So clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as our base to motorcycle out of. Many beautiful places around. Montrose has many great places to eat. The groundskeeper, Joe, was great, as was Coal, the property watch cat. Night sky was endless with stars. Mornings, watch the herd of Elk in the fields below. We cannot wait to go back!!

We were 4 miles from the visitor center to Black Canyon National Park. Also, a few miles from the town of Montrose. Very happy w the accommodations.
