Fabulous location, easy access from transit. Booked last minute somehow, cruise over from Helsinki. Easy walk to various neighbourhoods and museums. Beautiful inside, comfortable beds, kitchen had everything we needed to save the cost of a few meals out (coop grocery store right nearby). Loved hearing the hustle of the street below and kids playing at the school as the flat has windows on both sides of the building. I run two short term rentals and understand whats involved to doing it right. This was a lovely stay and exactly what we wanted! A beautiful old heritage building. Pictures very much matched the flat!
Might want to have a resident/local Netflix account so guests don’t have to try to use theirs?

Location is great. Underground nearby- bars on doorstep. Lots of cute features in the apartment. Well equipped kitchen.
Just to bear in mind : One bedroom is ‘normal’. The other two bedrooms are part of the walk way though the apartment. Not a problem- clearly indicated in the description and worked fine for us as a family.

La ubicacion es perfecta, se llega andando a todas partes. Las habitaciones son comodas, quizá la que esta cerca de la cocina es algo más incomoda porque da a la calle que tiene algo más ruido, pero la insonorización es buena.
Las escaleras de subida son empinadas si vas con equipaje pesado hay que tenerlo en cuenta. El WC es algo pequeño y no tiene enchufes, ni plato de ducha.

The location is excellent, right on the main street in Gamla Stan and very convenient for exploring the old town. There is also a grocery store nearby. A school and playground are next door, and the playground can be used when school is not in session.
The apartment itself is quite large and has a rustic, old-style feel that fits the historic area. The beds are all large and can comfortably sleep two people. The main bedroom and second sleeping area also have excellent closet and storage space.
Cleanliness was the biggest issue. When we arrived, the bathtub was completely clogged and would not drain at all. We ended up having to remove a large amount of hair from the drain ourselves, which was quite unpleasant. We also found stains and hair on the bed sheets.
The apartment is up two flights of stairs, so it would be difficult for anyone with accessibility or mobility issues. The windows are also very old and probably due for replacement. This was not a problem during our summer stay, but I would imagine they could be quite drafty in winter.
The bedroom layout is also worth understanding before booking. There is one proper bedroom. The second sleeping area is off the living room but has fairly good privacy thanks to a large cabinet and curtain. The third bedroom is essentially between the main living room and the kitchen, so you have to walk through it every time you access the kitchen. It also has no closet or storage space.
We also asked whether we could drop off our bags 1–2 hours before check-in because we were traveling with two children, but this was declined due to space limitations. Considering how large the apartment is, this was a little surprising, although it was ultimately only a minor inconvenience.
