Such a great spot! Great alternative to traditional hotel when staying in town for work.

The Inn on Officers’ Garden is a beautiful property in a great location. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and the hotel itself has a charming atmosphere. There were, however, a few areas where the guest experience could be improved. When I needed assistance with a reservation issue, I was told that I could only book through Expedia, even while I was at the hotel. This was confusing, especially since another couple in our group, who were staying at the hotel at the same time, were able to book directly through the hotel’s website. In addition, a previously discussed discount was not honored. Communication at the front desk could also be improved. For example, I was told that breakfast was not offered, but later learned that breakfast options were available through the hotel’s website. Clearer and more consistent information would have been very helpful. The continental breakfast was pleasant, but it might be nice to offer guests the option of purchasing a hot breakfast item for those who prefer a more substantial breakfast. Overall, the hotel is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, but clearer communication and more consistent guest service would make the experience even better.
