ホストの方があたたかく迎えて下さったところが良かったです。やんちゃ盛りの子供3人を連れていましたが、田舎の家に里帰りしたようになっていました。

Mikiko and Kei are the warmest and kindest hosts. They are generous in every way, and are so thoughtful. Staying with them for two nights was the perfect pause in the middle of a busy month in Japan.
We had rain on the second day and i was able to get some much needed rest in the comfortable guest room, but went for a walk around the villages during a break in the rain. The guest suite is separate from the main house (but bathroom shared).
The food was amazing, and the cute dog Mei Chan was a respectful and diligent meal host.
One of the best stays we have had in Japan, thank you Mikiko and Kei.

We spent two wonderful days and two nights with Mikiko and Kei at the Farmhouse Harubatei. We were welcomed with a comforting cup of tea. Then Mikiko, a botany graduate, introduced us to all the unique plants, edible or not, in her garden. The dinner served to us was delicious. Our room, with tatamis and futons, was very spacious and quiet. The next day, our hosts took us to gather aralia and warabi (young fern shoots). Kei kindly accompanied us to the starting point of a hike that allowed us to discover an ancient temple nestled in the forest. He then came back to pick us up. In the evening, our hosts invited us to share their dinner, which we greatly appreciated. This second dinner was just as exquisite, as were the breakfasts, plentiful and refined. In short, Mikiko and Kei took great care of us. We bonded during our conversations. We highly recommend this guesthouse, which we will remember fondly. Dominique and Anne-Cécile Antoni"

A beautiful house nestled in the woods hosted by a curious couple. Loved the crackling sound of the fireplace ! And the sound of birds & BGM every morning.
Nothing as such. The bathroom is shared. Sometimes, in the middle of the night we were worried that we may wake the owners up by walking on the wooden flooring.
