Always one of my first choices when I visit Bangkok. The place is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location. The rooms are above a coffee shop (which does fantastic coffee), are self check in and there is a lift which is a massive bonus. The staff give lots of useful information and are very communicative.
The rooms have strong quiet AC, smart tvs, comfy beds, and little kitchenettes with a full size fridge, kettle and microwave, cups and bowls and a sink. They’re nicely decorated with thoughtful touches about local history and the rooms feel homely.
As it’s situated on a main road there can be a fair bit of noise at night, especially at the weekends. But the property does provide earplugs in the room.

I really loved the character of the property and the sensitive way a traditional house in the old fish market area has been renovated and adapted. Many existing and recycled elements have been creatively reused, giving the place a very authentic and distinctive atmosphere. The location is excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming.
The only real downside was the street noise, which can be quite intense and made it difficult to sleep despite the very comfortable bed. I would recommend asking for an internal room if possible. Better soundproofing or double-glazed windows would make a huge difference and with that improvement, I would happily stay here again.
