Room was clean, staff was polite and very helpful. Our first night, they were fully booked and shifted us to a cheaper hotel despite us showing email confirmation of our reservation. But they moved us back to the original hotel and made up for the first night with good service and hospitality.
It is located on a steep decline.

Ive been to multiple stays in shillong and I must say this has the most cozy vintage vibe to it. The gardens it has and the nice veranda you can sit and enjoy the chirping of birds surrounded by everything green and earthy. Soumya and jhon were amazing hosts graciously took their time to show me some beautiful underrated spots in shillong. They serve good breakfast and the whole place feels like home
