Flint River Cottage was a great property. It is a short drive to town but far enough away for privacy and seclusion. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and watching the wildlife. We are already planning our next stay.

Really nice place. Inside the house smelled like a skunk had maybe sprayed a while back, but it’s the country. Something had chewed through a wire and killed the hot water heater, leaving us without hot water for the first night. However, we got in late and didn’t discover until the morning. The host took care of it right away and allowed us to use the property a few yards away to shower. The problem was fixed wildly fast. The property is quiet, beautiful and peaceful. Would totally stay again.
