This property is conveniently located at the edge of Sparkman Lake, just 40 minutes north of Tampa and 20 minutes from the Gulf coast. Amongst several natural springs, a day’s activities might include swimming with manatees, going to the beach, or a day trip to collect sea shells. A night’s activities might include sipping your favorite beverage on the back deck, listening to your favorite music, and grilling a local catch fresh from the market. Hello! A couple family members and I rented this spot to have a visit with our grandmother who lives nearby but is unable to host. This place was absolutely perfect. We were so comfortable and loved being surrounded by the woods. It really helped our trip feel like a true vacation. The kitchen is spacious and great for cooking. The back deck is a perfect place to sit around and talk over a meal. The hosts were communicative and welcoming. We are already talking about renting here again!Couple of potentially nit-picking improvement suggestions I would offer:Option for lower lighting in the living room, something between the harsh overhead lighting and no light. A well placed lamp or two would make a lot of difference in the evening. A couple more cozy throw blankets for the sofa. More towels including offering a few beach towels would be huge for travelers. Thank you so much for everything!

Host was easy to get in contact with. Pictures online are a bit misleading as to the quality of the home and space in the rooms, but overall was a nice place to stay.
