THE SPACE:
The Casita is located directly on the St. Johns River boasting over 55' of riverfront. From the moment you drive up to the home and walk in the house, you will feel relaxed with the breathtaking views of the river from the large screened in patio or from the firepit area on the lawn or from the deck stretched into the river. You will just love it here!
*Must notify us if you are wanting to bring a boat or watercraft so we can provide you information on public boat ramp and mooring to pier.
GUEST ACCESS:
As a guest of La Casita, you will have use of the entire home, front yard and back yard. There is a shared side yard rock garden with the neighbors if you wish to exit the side yard.
Other things to note:
The home is less than 1 hour away from Disney, 45 minutes from Universal Studios, 40 minutes to Daytona, 35 minutes to New Smyrna Beach and about 15 minutes to Sanford & restaurants and nightlife. We are close to Amtrak's Auto train for those coming from the North East. Whatever adventure or event you would like to do, we are close to it all with being able to come back and rest after the hustle and bustle.

Home owner’s attention to home detail with numerous amenities was well thought out. Homeowner is an excellent communicator and very thorough. Neighbors (Jack & Erlene) were very friendly, inviting, and helpful.

Stayed 12/31-Jan 4, 2026. By far one of the best rental house experiences we've had. Host Heidi was thorough and ultra-responsive with early check-ins for our needs, responses to questions and suggestions along the way. The house itself feels almost new with every gadget and amenity you could ask for including toiletries, food/bev supplies and nice multiple sets of dish and cooking ware that made us feel we were spoiling ourselves. The layout was spacious and bathrooms very well done. The outdoor patio is wonderful with shade and screens but so big you still very much outdoors. The piers and seating areas near the water were also great. We used the grill and fire pit and fished from the pier. The river is peaceful and fun to watch - Saturday was a busy boat day and some people really rip through there which is unfortunate but going to happen. All in all, we really came to love the quiet road and well-done decor and feel of the house and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend and trust the pictures and description. Thank you Heidi and Leo!

House was immaculate and overly stocked with items you might need. Kitchen was also well stocked for cooking in. Host was extremely responsive. The house was better than any hotel could be. I couldn't begin to recommend this home enough.
