Relax with the whole family at this peaceful spot. You are steps away from Lake June in Winter, an anglers and boating paradise. Soft white sandy bottom makes Lake June the premier lake in Highlands county. While Highlands is known for its variety of lakes, sandy bottom lakes are perfect for all water sports including swimming. Lake June is one of only three lakes in the county with this coveted title. The cottage is family friendly and filled with fun, whimsical decor and a Boho theme rich in color and worldly souvenirs collected in travels by the owners. Just hours from most major cities in Florida, it’s like stepping back in time to a more relaxed and simplistic way of life.
The cottage is cooled by three AC wall units and multiple fans. It’s an open floor plan with two separate bedrooms a full kitchen with plenty of seating for families. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. Bathroom has a walk-in shower. Full cable in Living room and the master bedroom is Roku only. Both tv’s have access to Disney plus, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. The couch can pull out to a sleeper sofa for two. It also has a wireless charging port that works for both apple and android phones.

Perfect vacation home on water especially if you have dogs. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. If you're wanting to get out on the water and have a great time, this is the place to be. What you see in the pictures is exactly how it is when you get there. The water was perfect. The atmosphere was perfect. The house was perfect. Myself, my son and our dogs really enjoyed our week that we got to spend here. Definitely looking forward to going back!! Also, the owners are quick to get back with you should you need anything or have any questions for them. You couldn't ask for better host that I promise! So whoever is reading this and decides to end up renting this home. You won't be disappointed!

Peaceful lake front property

The cottage was ok and fairly clean. Bathroom could have used a little more attention in cleaning. The front yard appeared to have new sod laid recently which was quite long and scattered with cow manure and could have been cleaned up and mowed. Back yard does not look as good in real life as the photos. The fire pit was loaded with tree clippings and branches which were also scattered around it blocking access to the beach area. When you pay this much for a vacation getaway you'd expect a little more attention to detail.
