Great hot-tub, fire pit, privacy with woods to the right of the home. Our neighbors are on the left side upon approach to our home.

You can enjoy swimming off the dock, fishing (be sure to get a fishing license), making smores at the campfire, or relaxing in the hot tub after a day out on the water. The house is located close to Mitchell's Marina where you can rent boats, pontoons, get fuel or drop your own boat in the water. Golf at Mariners Landing Golf Club, Copper Cove Golf Club.

This spot is absolutely fantastic and I plan to totally go back. Host was very responsive to questions and assisted with adding fur family to the already booked reservation. Property is somehow even better in person, the cove it is in was peaceful and quiet which was surprising given that it is not far from a marina and a main channel. While the water level was low (no ones fault as it has been really dry in this region and they are in drought conditions) it was still perfect for floating, swimming and relaxing, the dock has two covers that ensured that the fur family could come down to dock with us safely. Best part was that there was little boating aside from a few canoes and kayaks, those with engines respected the cove so the water was very calm with little to no wakes. The property has everything you need, a weber charcoal grill as well as a gas grill, kitchen was well stocked with all you could need that is not perishable, ice maker in the upstairs fridge was in constant use and easily produced enough to keep our cooler and beverages chilled. You can tell they really thought this property through, the deck to the dock is staggered so it is not all steps and is easy to get back and forth (even in triple digit heat). The only issue I had was leaving, and that is just because I wanted to stay the rest of the summer.

We loved this cozy cottage, tucked away in a cove. Woke up to the sound of birds and scampering squirrels and watched the deer go down to water for a drink in the evenings. Kitchen was well appointed and there were even multiple refrigerators. A/C and water pressure were outstanding; beds were very comfortable. The lower level with bed and bathroom gave a separation of space but still felt connected.It was exactly what our family needed for a place to get away and spend some quality time together.
