The place was cozy and clean, but there was no toilet paper other than the roll on the holder, so I had to buy a package of toilet paper and left the extra rolls there for the next guest. The electric kettle in the kitchenette had some standing water that was left and a layer of mold was on the surface, so I had to scrub it really good before I used it. I made sure it was dry when I left. The smoke alarm jarred me awake at 7:06am on Saturday, so that was interesting and scary-thank goodness there was no fire or smoke! Overall I enjoyed my stay and was very happy here.

Great location and ideal setup for one or two travelers seeking a home base for exploration of the area! Excellent value! Privacy A. Shower/bath A. Bed A- only because the mattress extends slightly beyond the frame, meaning you might opt for a different location if two larger-than-average individuals are sharing a bed. Kitchenette also gets an A for its perfectly functional fridge and microwave. Coffee maker left a little to be desired, but there are plenty of places nearby to grab some coffee. Cleanliness and ambience, amenities: A. Host hospitality: A. This place is a real find. We will definitely stay here again if we have reason to return to Alexandria!
