About this house rental
Peaceful cabin with WIFI that has one bedroom and one bathroom that is located in a quiet area with the backyard looking on to the dry bed of Lake Brownwood. This cabin comes with a spacious kitchen with a stainless-steel refrigerator, updated electric stove, new microwave, new Keurig coffee maker, new toaster, and plenty of storage cabinets for groceries. A small grill is provided for outdoor charcoal cooking along with grilling utensils. Living area has comfortable couches in front of a large window with a big 75”TV. We provide a large picnic table outside that can seat around 20 people along with 4 extra lawn chairs. The inside dining table sits 6 people with a view overlooking the front yard. The bedroom has a full-size tall bed with bedding provided and we also provide two cots for 2 extra guests. Guest must provide bedding for extra guest. The bathroom is equipped with plenty of towels and a comfortable bench along with a small shower. The backyard is big enough for a cookout or a small gathering. This little cabin provides the comforts of home away from home.

This was our second stay and we were very pleased again. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Communication with the host was excellent as well. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

The lighted pier was only lit for a couple of hours. There were many bugs of assorted kinds and sizes in the bathroom, and some in the kitchen. The house is cooled by window units, which were fine, but one was over the side of the bed, blowing on the person sleeping on that side. The bed was very tall and hard to get into for people like me (5'5").The television was very good with lots of selections. The yard was great with several options for seating (swing, lawn chairs, huge picnic table). The view was great, and we were visited by a pair of roadrunners, many squirrels, and a couple of neighboring dogs who were a delight.While the yard and lake access were great, we would probably not return due to the bugs, the bed, and the bedroom window unit.
