A beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood featuring plenty of local food options and grocery stores nearby. Close enough to walk to the city center or along the river, but also plenty of other transportation options. The apartment had everything we needed to cook our own food and handle some mid trip laundry. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Munich area.

This property is a lovely and clean little hideaway in a quiet neighborhood in Munich. It is a two level unit with a spiral stairway. Bathrooms on both levels. The lower level has two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower. seating/entertainment area, open wardrobe space, and washer/dryer with a folding clothing rack. The lower level is cooler and very comfortable in warmer temperatures. The upper level has the kitchen, a 6-seat table, bathroom with a bathtub/hand shower, an entertainment area, and access to a small outdoor seating area. Munich is a very walkable city - it's about a 30 minute walk to Marienplatz from this location. The neighborhood is family friendly, with two bakeries nearby, an apothecary for medicine, and a full Lidl grocery store a short distance from the unit. Very bike friendly area and close to the river and multiple walking paths. Great restaurants, including a vegan Vietnamese restaurant, a lovely Japanese restaurant, and an amazing Bavarian food restaurant (Hand aufs Herz) with lovely staff. I hope to book this property again on a return visit to Munich.

While the apartment was lovely and conveniently located, the situation with the hot water was not good. I have texted Tanja twice to see if we could be compensated for having no hot water the first night and morning, as well as having to reset the heater by going into less than comfortable places to reset the system on our own, but I have not received any response. While I understand that the heat Germany had in August and the shutting down of the hot water heater was not Tanja's fault, I would appreciate some compensation for the inconvenience, as we did pay I good amount for our stay. I would be happy with the waiving of the cleaning fee, especially since I believe you would agree we were neat guests. Thank you for considering. Dee Ann
