About this cottage rental
The property is situated towards the top end of Anna Maria Island. It is one of a cluster of 3 cottages which have the benefit of a shared free form pool with waterfall (at most there would be 8 people using the pool).
This spacious property is very well furnished and equipped. The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the bathroom is fitted with a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
There is an internal door which connects to Shell Cottage therefore making it possible to rent the 2 properties together to accommodate up to 4 people (this door is lockable from both sides to ensure privacy).
You will find tables, chairs and loungers around the pool, which is situated in a tropically landscaped garden, making an ideal space to sit and relax while enjoying the beautiful weather.
The property benefits from off street parking for 1 car.
The beach is just 200 feet away at the end of the quiet road and numerous restaurants can also be found within walking distance. If you wanted to explore the island further without having to use your car then the free trolley bus is the perfect answer.

My granddaughter and I loved our weeklong stay at Seahorse Cottage to celebrate her 13th birthday. The pool was lovely, and we were only 100 steps from the entrance to the beach. What a great location! The beach was quiet and uncrowded... white sugar sand and clear turquoise waters within a very short walk from our cheery yellow cottage. We could also walk 1/2 mile to Pine Ave. shops which I highly recommend for teens. Two Scoops for ice cream was a favorite. It was a 10-15 minute drive to Publix for groceries which was handy. And we loved Coquina Beach Market (a 20 min. drive) on Wed., Fri., and Sat. in June.The cottage was spacious, and we cooked most of our meals in its kitchen. Comfy bed, nice big closet, and a wonderful sectional which my granddaughter loved lounging on. Clean bathroom with a good shower. I really appreciated the onsite washer and dryer and the wagons, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs left behind in the garage from other visitors that we could use. It was the perfect beach vacation. Everything we needed in a great place. Our hostess, Deb, answered our needs immediately. It was our first time on Anna Maria Island, and this was a great place to stay.

The Seahorse Cottage was an amazing place to stay. It was next to a great part of the beach, a short walk to restaurants and shops, and a comfortable stay. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

What a great property with a fabulous pool. The location was perfect a few steps from the white sand and five minutes to the Sandbar along the beach. The house had everything we wanted and would highly recommend

Cottage is excellent as for clean, amenities provided, distance from beach. However there was no mention of the construction taking place just outside of the unit. Crew starts beating and banging by 7:30 a.m. sounds like they're physically inside of thw cottage. Backup alarm on skid steer went nonstop for days. When I mentioned the noise mid-week was told construction is all over the island which is not the case...it is here and there on the island but definitely not all over the island. Would like to have been told about construction right next to the cottage prior to booking. Be prepared to be woke up early every day and hear this noise all day long if you stay here!
