About this house rental
Howdy from Matagorda!
Our home is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath home, located right on the Colorado River just a few minutes to Matagorda Beach! This awesome location is sure to provide you with an excellent experience in our awesome fishing and beach community.
Fish from the pier at the house equipped with fishing lights, or head on over to Matagorda Beach at just 5 minutes away. Or head to town, just over the bridge, for some shopping and/or delicious food. Enjoy the coastal breeze from one of our several outdoor seating areas, or even enjoy a fire in the firepit at night!
The bedroom layout is as follows:
Primary bedroom (entire top floor of home): King bed with en suite full bathroom. There is also a desk workstation in the bedroom, and a private balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy! Just imagine yourself waking up to coffee on the patio, overlooking the water!
Secondary Bedroom #1: Located on the main floor.. the bedroom has a queen bed.
Secondary Bedroom #2: Located on the main floor.. the bedroom has a queen bed and also a twin over twin bunk (with safety rails for children).
The kitchen is stocked with all of the kitchen basics. Including a drip coffee machine.
There is a propane grill available for guests to use. Please bring your own propane tank if you plan to use the grill.
**Please note that the boat lift will not be available for guests from November through January** Please reach out if you have questions about this!

There were three couples that stayed in house. Plenty of room. We each had our own room. The upstairs master bedroom was huge..took up the whole second story floor. If you have littles there is plenty of room for an air mattress in master bedroom. The house was VERY clean..great job to your house keeping team. The house even had a boat lift for your boat, that was the main reason we booked this particular house. Mosquitos were pretty bad, just bring your own pump with Bifen spray. If I had one minor complaint it would be that the grass needed mowed.
Great house! We will rent again!!

Our family loves the howdy house! It meets all of our families needs perfectly. The lights on the fishing pier and the extra refrigerator and ice maker are a great bonus! We travel to Matagorda several times a year and always stay at the howdy house.

Yes the host was welcoming, amenities that stood out were the lighted fishing pier, ice maker, bait livewell, shop freezer , bathroom downstairs, patio chairs and parking area.
